Celebrate Juneteenth with performances and activities promoting and cultivating the knowledge and appreciation of Black history and culture. The museum offers free admission, carousel rides, train rides, and parking in collaboration with the Greater Rochester Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission. Enjoy performances by Womba Africa and Dreamseeds and be captivated by the storytelling of Almeta Whitis. Join Nykki Matthews, Author of The Truth About Me, in the Adams Atrium for a meet-and-greet and story reading. Support local business by getting a tasty treat from Sugary Delights. There will be a museum-wide black history artifact tour and a craft activity as well.
